Vidhu Vinod Chopra (Date of Birth: 5-Sept-1952) is a Bollywood Hindi film director, producer and screenwriter of Indian Cinema.  He was born in Srinagar, Kashmir in India. Vidhu Vinod Chopra was born to D.N. Chopra and filmmaker Ramanand Sagar was his half-brother. He is also winner of National Film Awards and Filmfare Awards and most popular for his films Parinda (1989), 1942: A Love Story (1993), Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006), 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014). He is also a founder of Vinod Chopra Films. Vidhu Vinod Chopra is married to Renu Saluja, Shabnam Sukhdev and Anupama Chopra. His first debut film Sazaye Maut in 1981.
