He was born on 22-06-1950 in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand in India. He is tall actor with a height 5ft 7 inches. He is also a TV and theatre actor and appeared in so many Hindi, Pakistani, Gujarati and Marathi films as a leading and supporting actor and got his own Identity in Indian Cinema. He is best known for his Pakistani film Honour Killing released in 2014. He is brother of Jamie Alter and Afshaan Alter and his first debut film Charas released in 1976.
