Tabu Biography: Tabu born name Tabassum Hashmi is an Indian film actress. She works on Bollywood film Industry. Tabu was born on 4 November 1971 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. She was born to Rizwana and Jamal Hashmi. After some times, her parents divorced. Tabu younger sister name is Farah Naaz, is a film actress. Tabu is not only acted in Bollywood film also acted in Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam and Bengali movies. Tabu first debut movie Coolie No.1 (1991) in Telugu Language and her first Hindi movie Pehla Pehle Pyaar released in 1994.
Education: Tabu completed her studied at St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai in 1983.
Career: Tabu began her film career as a lead actress in the Telugu movie ‘Coolie No. 1’. The movie was released on 1987 and opposite Star Venkatesh. Tabu first debut Hindi movie ‘Pehla Pehla Pyar’ released In 1994. But the movie was not success at the box office.
His next chance to given director Farooq Siddique Hindi movie ‘Vijaypath’ released in 1994. The movie features: Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Danny Denzongpa, Gulshan Grover and Reema Lagoo. In the movie, plays the female lead role Divya Bharti, but was replaced by Tabu after Divya Bharti Death. The movie was also not success at the box office.
In 1996, her movie ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ directed by David Dhawan. The movie star-cast Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu and Satish Kaushik. The movie music composed by Nadeem-Shravan. The movie released was 12 April 1996, after released the movie, the movie was hit at the box office.
Then, her next movie ‘Jeet’ released on 23 August 1996. The movie directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie fetures: Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Tabu. In the movie, Tabu plays the role of Tulsibai. The movie was super-hit at the box office.
After success, Tabu next super-hit movie ’Maachis’ directed by Gulzar and movie features: Tabu, Om Puri, Chandrachur Singh, and Jimmy Shergill. The movie music composed by Vishal Bhardwaj. After released the movie was super-hit at the box-office. In the movie Tabu, plays the role of Veeran. For the movie, Tabu won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her best performance.
