Her father name was Lateefur Rehman Khan and her first debut film Yaad Rakhegi Duniya. She is married to Faruk Kabir in 2010 and both couples have a child Aisha Ahmed. She is tall actor with a height 5 feet 7 inches.

Rukhsar Rehman started her film career at the age of 19 with the film Yaad Rakhegi Duniya released in 1991 alongside Aditya Pancholi. She has acted in several films and got her own Identity in Bollywood film Industry.
