Revathi Biography:

Revathi born name is Asha Kelunni Kutty, was born on 8-July-1966 in Kochi, Kerala, India. She is a Hindi film actress and also director. She is a tall actor with a height of 5 feet 3 inches. Revathi is extremely brilliant, supremely over- confident and hardly looks like first-time actress. She is also appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu movies. She was most popular for Tamil movie Mann Vasanai released in 1983 and for the movie also won the Filmfare Special Award-South. Revathy is also appeared in so many Television Shows such as: Iravil Oru Pagal, Penn, Nirangal, and Sindhanaigal etc. She was born to Major Kelunni and mother Lalitha Kelunni. She has a sister by name Bindu. Revathi has also won the National Film Awards, Filmfare Awards and so many awards. Revathi is married to Suresh Chandra Menon in 1988 and after some years, they divorced in 2002. Revathi first debut movie Mann Vasanai released in 1983.

Revathi has begun her film career in 1983 Tamil movie Mann Vasanai, directed by P. Bharathiraja and produced by Chithra Lakshman. The movie features: Pandiyan, Revathi, Ramanathan, and Vijayan. In the movie, Revathi played the role of Muthupechi, after released the movie, the movie was great success at the box office and for the movie, and she also won the Filmfare Special Award-South.

Revathi has also acted in 1988 Malayalam movie 'Kakkothikkavile Appooppan Thaadikal', directed by Kamal and produced of this movie Ausepachan. Star-cast of the movie Revathi, Ambika and Krishnan Kutty Nair. In the movie, Revathi played the role of Lakshmi.
