He is an Indian and English film actor who appeared in so many Hindi movies. He is a tall actor with a height of 5 feet 8 inch. His father was a Military Man and his cousin brothers Late Amrish Puri and Madan Puri, both was Bollywood film actor. Om Puri is married to Nandita Puri and they have child Ishaan Puri. Om Puri first debut movie Ghashiram Kotwal released in 1976.

Om Puri Career: Om Puri began his film career in ‘Ghashiram Kotwal’, is a Marathi, films. The movie directed by Jabbar Patel and written by Vijay Tendulkar. The movie was released in 1972. He has doing so many movies in Hindi, Marathi and Kannada movies but not popular.
Om Puri was most famous for his 1980 Hindi movie ‘Aakrosh’, directed by Govind Nihalani and produced by NFDC/ Devi Dutt. The movie star-cast: Naseeruddin Shah, Smita Patil, Amrish Puri and Om Puri. In the movie, Om Puri played the role of Lahanya Bhiku. After released the movie, the movie was super-hit at the box office and Om Puri acting performance is very well.
