Makarand Deshpande is an Indian Bollywood Hindi film actor, director, writer and producer. He was born on 6-Mar-1966. He has also appeared in Hindi and Marathi movies. He is best known for his film Jungle, Swades, Sarfarosh and Makdee. He has directed more than 5 movies in Hindi film Industry. He has appeared in so many Hindi movies as a supporting roles and got his own Identity in Hindi film Industry. Makarand Deshpande first debut Hindi film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak released in 1988.

In the movie, played the main lead role Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla and Makarand Deshpande played the role of Baba. His next hit film ‘Anth’ released in 1994 and In the movie, he played the role of Kali.
He has also appeared in so many super-hit movies including: Naajayaz, Ghatak: Lethal, Satya, Jungle, Company etc. His next film ‘Swades’ with Shahrukh Khan and in the film, he played the role of Fakir. He has also acted with Amitabh Bachchan Hindi film ‘Bbuddah… Hoga Tera Baap’ released in 2011.
