Mahesh Bhatt is an Independent film director, producer, screenwriter and works for mainly Bollywood film Industry. He is best known for his film Arth, Saaransh, Janam, Naam, Sadak and Zakhm. He has also famous for his films as a producers like Jism, Murder, and Who Lamhe. Mahesh Bhatt was born on 20-Sept-1948 in Mumbai, India. He is the son of Nanabhai Bhatt and Shirin Mohammad Ali. His father was belongs to Gujarati Brahmin family and his mother was a Gujarati Shia Muslim family. He is the brother of Mukesh Bhatt, Robin Bhatt, Sheila Bhatt and Heena Suri. He finished his schooling life from Don Bosco High School in Matunga. 
Mahesh Bhatt is married to Kiran Bhatt when he was 20 years old and both couples have two children by names Pooja Bhatt, who is a former actress and Rahul Bhatt, a film producer. Mahesh Bhatt second married to Soni Razdan in 1986 and the couples have two daughters; their names are Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt.
At the age 26, Mahesh Bhatt started his film career as a director, with the movie ‘Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain’ released in 1974. Then his next film ‘Lahu Ke Do Rang’ which features Shabana Azmi and Vinod Khanna in lead characters. After that his first commercial successful film ‘Arth’ released in 1982, which features Shabana Azmi and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. After that, he followed by so many hit movies and got his own Identity in Bollywood film Industry.
