She has appeared in so many Hindi and Television. Gautami Kapoor was born on June 21, 1966. She is most famous for his TV Serials Kehta Hai Dil (2002-2005) on Star Plus. Gautami Kapoor is married to Bollywood and Television actor Ram Kapoor and they have two children, their names are Sia Kapoor and Aks Kapoor.

Gautami Kapoor began her career with Television Serials, her first debut TV Series 'Ghar Ek Mandir' (2000-2002) ran on Sony TV. In this Serial, She played the character of Binita. This show is most famous on Sony Channel in that time.
Gautami Kapoor first debut Hindi movie 'Kuch Na Kaho' released in 2003. The movie directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Ramesh Sippy. The movie features: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Arbaaz Khan. In the movie, Gautami Kapoor played the character of Pony. 'Kuch Naa Kaho' released in 5 September 2003 in all over India, after released the movie was not success at the box office and lastly flop.
Her next chance to given director Kunal Kohli Hindi movie 'Fanaa' released in 2006 under the Yash Raj banner.
