Punit Malhotra Biography: Punit Malhotra was born on 13^th May, 1982 in India. He is an Indian film Director, Writer and also Model who is works in Bollywood Industry. He is a nephew of Indian Costume designer Manish Malhotra. Punit is a brilliant actor and good personality in Hindi Cinema. He has a brother of actor Siddharth Malhotra who appeared in ‘Student of the Year’ Hindi movie. Punit Malhotra first Hindi debut movie ‘I Hate Luv Story’s’ as a director.
Career: Punit Malhotra starting his career as an assistant director on Karan Johar movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ released in 2001, and Nikhil Advani movie ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ released in 2003, Amol Palekar hindi movie ‘Paheli’ released in 2005 and Tarun Mansukhani Hindi movie ‘Dostana’ released in 2008. These movies were big hit at the box office.
After, Punit Malhotra began his film career as a director. His first Hindi movie as a director ‘I Hate Luv Storys’and also wrote the movie story. The movie produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Ronnie Screwvala. The movie features: Sonam Kapoor, Imran Khan, Sameer Dattani, Samir Soni and Bruna Abdullah.
