Karan Johar Biography: Karan Johar born name was Karan Dharma Kama Johar. Karan Johar was born on 25th May, 1972, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, television host, costume designer and also actor in Bollywood. He is a brilliant director and gets success in little age. His father name was Yash Johar; he was head of ‘Dharma Productions’ Company and mother name is Hiroo Johar. His first Hindi movie as a director and writer ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ released in 1998.
Education: Karan starting his schooling life at the Greenlawns High School in Mumbai and then joined H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. After he received Masters Degree in French.
Career: Karan Johar starting his film career ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Chopra. The movie features: Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Amrish Puri and Karan Johar. In the movie Karan Johar plays the role of Raj (Shahrukh Khan) close friend. Karan Johar was also works as an assistant director on the movie and helped director Aditya Chopra in writing and screenplay.  The movie released 20th October, 1995, after released the movie was blockbuster hit at the box office.
