  1. Need that resolution to print smooth light guides and Fresnel lenses for LED art installations. Really looking to push the 3D printed optics envelope.

  2. Bring it to my innercity chronically underfunded school and teach my students how to make 3d mini models of their cool stuff

  3. I would be printing small and precise parts for my retro collection.

  4. Printing board and tabletop game accessories!

  5. In the unlikely chance I won the cool printer I would use it initially for making odd brackets, boxes and widgets for my geeky electronic, ebike and hydro lettuce gardening projects. From there I imagine it would become another obsessive hobby in itself.

  6. I’d absolutely use it to make custom gaming dice, at the very least. Also I’d likely use it to print minis for my friend to paint (paints for competitions).

  7. I would make custom figures for my F.A.T.A.L tabletop campaign.

  8. I’d make so many dnd minis. And dollhouse miniatures. 🙂

  9. I would use it to teach my nephew how to create 3d models and print miniatures for dioramas.

  10. I’d print some woodworking tools

  11. It would be great to print small replacement parts to all of the broken things cone across

  12. I’d print all the minifiga for my friends ttrpg games. Personally I’d go for a gridfinity organizer set up combines with Alexander Chappel’s drawers.

  13. I’d use it to manufacture functional components for a 6DOF robotics arm project I am working on.

  14. I would use it to print toys for the kids and teach them about 3d printing!

  15. Dungeons… and dragons figures.

  16. I want to use it to make very detailed, tiny, middle fingers and tiny ghosts with penises that appear when you lift them up and hide them all over my town.

  17. High resolution kaijus and other monsters to paint

  18. I’m just getting into model trains, and a resin printer would be excellent for custom buildings and cars!

  19. I honestly have no idea how I’d use it. Maybe design some custom guitar mods. I’m FDM printing a guitar right now.

  20. DnD figures, toys for brothers kids, parts for DYI projects, replacements for fixing stuff that broke, jewellery, presents for friends and family… A lot of awesome stuff…
And that’s a great idea, thanks for doing that for the community!

  21. My cousin started and DMs a DnD group for the children at her school, so I’d use it to print her a bunch of miniatures to use with her students.

  22. I’d like to see what 3d printing is like.

  23. I’d like to be able to do better prints than I get from my Flashforge Finder.

  24. I would use it to make high quality negatives for metal casting.

  25. I have a lot of projects, which would greatly benefit from a 3d printer. Stuff for my car, case for my outdoor pir system, stuff like that.

  26. wow this would be an awesome gift for my so

  27. I am just getting into 3D printing and I would use this for finely detailed items on replicated props and miniatures!

  28. I’d replace the couple broken plastic knobs in my kitchen … And then print a 3d burning dumpster

  29. I’m a dice maker and have been looking for a printer to print dice master for myself and then hopefully move on to selling masters.. I think the very fine detailing this printer would provide the precision I’m looking for

  30. I’ve recently gotten into making custom board games as gifts for friends and family. Doing so out of cardboard is fun but yields products that are way too flimsy for long term gameplay. Would love to upgrade to resin prints that can last the ages!

I’m also a year old first time homeowner and can think of a million as hoc home improvement custom pieces that I could print (vs modifying what I can find at my local hardware store).

I also paint a lot and gift most of what I make to people. Would be cool to incorporate printing into the creative process!

  31. Would love to get into the 3d maker space and start building little trinkets and toys for my kids.

  32. I’d use it to prototype some linkages and gears for my project.
